LOOKING FOR PARKING?

Looking for a great and safe place to park? Japp’s is teaming up with a few other OTR businesses and the Parkhaus Garage to give everyone cheaper parking. If you visit Neons, Japps, Mayberry, MOTR and/or Mr. Pitiful’s you will receive a $1 discount at the garage. Additionally, you will get a $1 off your tab at Neons or Japps if you park at Parkhaus Garage. It is located on Sycamore behind Japps. Your car must be out of the garage by 3. a.m in order to receive the discount from the Parkhaus Garage and present a receipt from Japp’s or Neon’s . These discounts will apply FRIDAY and SATURDAY.  There will be a parking attendant on duty as well til 3 a.m.

WELCOME TO JAPP’S ANNEX

We are open on the weekends, and feature a DJ that plays music from the 1940s up to today, and often show old musicals on our projector to add to the vintage dance hall feel. There is never a cover at the Annex because we don’t believe you should have to pay to dance with your friends, and there is no dress code—come as you are! While the Annex has a full bar, you won’t find the craft cocktails that we serve at Japp’s. Instead, we offer up a selection of drinks that will refresh you, and give you that liquid courage you need to dance all night! Try some of our specialty shots made with fresh ingredients each weekend, or choose from our huge selection of draft beer—just don’t ask for a Redheaded Slut, Molly won’t allow them!

WELCOME TO JAPP’S–SINCE 1879

We specialize in craft drinks using the freshest ingredients made in house, and inspired by classic cocktails from the 1700s to the 1950s. Molly Wellmann heads our team of mixologists, who are not only experts at making our delicious cocktails, but are well versed in their history and the history of the spirits that go into them. At Japp’s, you’ll find many unique liquors as we emphasize small, craft distillers in our cocktails. Our selection of liquors is extensive and was hand selected by Molly for quality—not marketing!

What you won’t find at Japp’s are TVs! The environment here was designed so that you can have the authentic Cincinnati cocktail experience. The architecture compliments the over 100 year history of Japp’s as a Hair Store, the unique history of Cincinnati’s Over-the-Rhine neighborhood, and provides the ideal setting for you to enjoy drinks, as well as a conversation.
